Aims and Objectives
The primary aims and objectives of the YSRCCYP are to perform world-leading epidemiological research and to collect data on children, teenagers and young adults with cancer in Yorkshire, specifically information which adds value and is not otherwise available from other routine NHS sources.

Who We Are
The research programme of the Register is lead by Professor Richard Feltbower and the medical lead is Professor Adam Glaser. The team also consists of a research statistician, data management staff and several PhD researchers.

Funding and Ethical Approval
The Register is funded by The CandleLighters Trust, with additional funding from the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust. Ethical approval for the Register is given by the Northern and Yorkshire Multi Centre Research Ethics Committee the HRA Confidential Advisory Group. The work of the Register is overseen by the Scientific Advisory Group.
